That's at over 100MPH, where the aero is not in the 280s favor. Wish I could've made it out to see that Viper. Looks like a sweet ride.

The 383 was a few thousand less than LPEs basic Stage 1 TT, but that wasn't the deciding factor for me. The power is about the same. My 383 made 538 HP and they rate the Stage 1 @ 550 HP. There are some cheaper twin turbo and single turbo kits out there, but with the kinda power you can get NA out of LSX engines... I decided to take the simpler route. I could've made about as much power with a H/C upgrade (much cheaper), but a much more aggressive cam would've been needed. Superchargers are an option too. A lot of guys are running centrifugal types and getting 600-750 RWHP out of forged LSXs. Just do your research and talk to a reputable shop.

I was trying to troubleshoot a slight vibration, so I put the stock ones back on. The vibe ended up being a warped driveshaft and an unbalanced clutch & pressure plate.
I'm putting a SLP Power Flow system on soon. I miss the sound!
Probably just the injectors. I had the same ticking sound back when the car was new & stock. The long tubes add a little more underhood noise also.
Well... I like the quieter exhaust sometimes, but I miss the Borlas already and will probably get something similar.

I've had my '01 Z06 since it was new and all the Z06 peeps I've met pronou nce it Z-Oh-Six. The Chief Engineer of the C5 and C6 Corvettes: Dave Hill , Corvette Assembly Plant Manager: Wil Cooksy, and former Corvette Racing driver: Andy Pilgrim, just to name a few.
